Physical Simulation Test on Temperature Field Distribution of Artificial Vertical Straight Multirow Freezing Inclined Shaft

This study investigated the temperature field distribution of a freezing inclined shaft. Thus, three-dimensional physical simulation test system was developed, and consists six parts, which are box shaft model, loading system, external environment data acquisition system. From results mechanical property artificially frozen sand, in range 25°C to -20°C, heat capacity sand decreases first, then increases, decreases, finally tends be stable; thermal conductivity gradually increases becomes cohesion, internal friction angle, uniaxial compressive strength, elastic modulus all increase as decreases. The measurement showed that distance from pipe is main factor affecting wall temperature, closer pipe, faster cooling rates. Comparison theoretical calculation shows formula with time can reflect general law cooling. Therefore, 3D reliable method feasible.
